A 5.3 magnitude earthquake hit the Georgian town of Kutaisi at 1:17 pm local time.
Tremors were felt in Armenia as well, the National Seismic Protection Service of Armenia reports.
According to the source, the earthquake was felt in the cities of Gyumri, Tashir, Vanadzor and Stepanavan.
