North Korea to host 1ts amateur golf tournament in spring
North Korea, officially the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), will host the country's first amateur golf tournament in spring 2011.
The tournament will take place at the Pyongyang Golf complex, which is the country's only golf courses located 27 kilometers from the capital.
The first ever North Korean amateur event is open for entry to all amateur golfers all around the world.
The entry fee is set at $1000.
DPRK leader is an avid fan of golf and spend his free time in the golf courses outside Pyongyang.
