Karlen Mkrtchyan: “I am ready to overcome all obstacles”
On December 23, Pyunik halfback Karlen Mkrtchyan was announced as the best football player of Armenia in 2010.
"It was a great honor for me to be named the best footballer of Armenia. I shall do my best to justify the expectations of all people who voted for me. To tell the truth, I was taken aback at the news as I consider the ten candidates worthy rivals," Karlen Mkrtchyan told A1+.
Regarding his possible transfer to a foreign club, Mkrtchyan said that Punik is presently negotiating with a few clubs and the results will be known in January.
"One needs time to get adjusted to a new club but I am ready to overcome all obstacles on my way," he added.
