Tournament of contenders at hotel
The tournament of contenders for the title of world chess champion will most probably be held at "Korston" Hotel in Kazan, as reported by Minister of Youth Affairs, Sport and Tourism of the Autonomous Tatar Republic Rafis Burganov.
"Such tournaments are usually held at the sessions halls of hotels so that the participants can stay at the hotel, not have any nutrition problems and so that there will be few spectators," said Burganov.
According to the minister, the most appropriate hotel in Kazan is "Korston" Hotel, which can fully meet the chess players' demands.
The organizers say they had foreseen to build a special chess house, but refused later on.
Let us remind that there are 8 chess masters participating in the tournaments, including Armenia's most powerful chess player Levon Aronyan.
