Short-term training

From 30 November to 2 December, Armenia's footzal team will hold a short-term training at the Football Academy in Yerevan, as reported by the press center of the Football Federation of Armenia. This training will help the team prepare for the 1st stage of qualification for the 2010 European Cup.

The Armenian team is enlisted in the selective Group B and will compete against Iceland, Greece and Latvia. The selective series will be held from 20-24 January 2011 and the winners of the groups will move on to the 2nd stage of qualification. The final series will be held in Croatia in February 2012.

Chief trainer of Armenia's team Ruben Nazaretyan has called 15 football players to participate in the trainings, including Khoren Zargaryan, Saro Mardanyan, Hakobo Uzunyan, Avetis Tonelyan, Harutyun Harutyunyan, Armen Gyulambaryan, Henrik Grigoryan, Hakob Lobasyan, Yura Zargaryan (all from "Erebuni"), Armen Fishyan ("Mika"), Mher Nazaretyan, Vladimir Mkhitaryan, Artur Karapetyan, Edgar Kirakosyan ("Talgrig"), Arman Sahakyan ("Polytechnic").

Three rounds have already been held in the Armenian championship this month. Heading the table with 6 points is Yerevan's "Erebuni", which destroyed "Hrazdan" 13:3. "Gyumri" won "Talgrig" 7:6 with difficulty in the next match.
