Yuri Vardanyan won’t become minister?
Rumor has it that well-known weightlifter Yuri Vardanyan may be appointed RA Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs.
It is known that member of "Bargavach Hayastan" party Artur Petrosyan is currently holding that office. The latter is not an athlete and is simply fulfilling the party's assignment.
Rumor has it that Yuri Vardanyan, who has been an advisor to RA President Serzh Sargsyan since 2009, is getting ready to join the "Bargavach Hayastan" party to be appointed minister.
Both the RA Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs and "Bargavach Hayastan" Party denied the rumors.
Let us remind that Yuri Vardanyan was in a car accident on the Yerevan-Gyumri highway and is currently in the process of recovering.
