Armenian male team wins in Bulgaria
Armenian men's team Mika scored 3,5:2,5 against Russian Saint Petersburg in the European Chess Club Cup in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
With all games ending in a draw, Levon Aronian scored the decisive victory for Mika, taking a decisive victory over Vasyliy Ivanchuk.
After the first three tours, Mika tops the standings with four other teams.
On October 20, Mika will rival Bosnia's Bihac.
Unlike the men's team, Armenian women's team lost to Georgia's Samaia 1,5:2,5 dropping to 4th place. Today, the team will face Serbia's BAS, which comes 5th on the standings.
