Russia is encouraging coaches
Starting January 1, 2011, the Russian Ministry of Sport will raise the salaries of trainers preparing athletes for the 2014 Winter Olympics. The minimum salary will be 130,000 rubles.
"Trainers who will ensure higher results during trainings will receive higher salaries. But the government has already done all it could to solve that issue," said head of the training center at the Ministry of Sport, Alexander Kravtsov.
