Tigran Kotanjyan leads Karen Asrian Memorial
Armenian grandmaster Tigran Kotanjyan played a tie with Georgian David Magalashvili in round 9 of the Karen Asrian Memorial going on in Armenian resort city Jermuk.
After the victory, Kotanjyan took the lead with seven points.
Nazi Paikidze (Georgia) is leading among women chess players with 5 points. She received a special award by the tournament organizers.
