The best will receive their awards
Today at 7 p.m. a ceremony dedicated to Teachers' Day will be held at the National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet after Al. Spendiaryan.
Participating in the ceremony will be RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, RA Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan, as well as other officials and public figures. During the ceremony, a group of educators will be granted state awards and the winners of the "Contests for Best Principal, Teacher and Educator of the Year" will receive their awards.
In his congratulatory address on the occasion of Teachers' Day, RA Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan has stated in particular:
"As the ones shaping the nation's system of values, you also become the significant pillar of that system regardless of age or social status. Everyone feels like a student in your presence. Your work is important for Armenia's strengthening and the realization of the nation's wishes whether you are teaching in a small village on the border, in the capital or in a Diaspora Armenian Sunday school. The examples that you set and your dedication help describe Armenians of the 21st century," as stated in the address.
