Armenia left out of competition
Armenia's up to 17-year old football team lost to Iceland's team 1:2 in the 3rd match of the final selective round of the 2011 European Championship.
Armenia scored only 1 point out of the possible 9 and was in 4th place. The Armenian team was left out of the competition, whiel Iceland and Turkey moved on to the next stage. They each scored two victories and shared the 1st and 2nd places.
