Two leading players
The matches of the 4th round of the European Youth Chess Championship are over.
Among the most successful Armenian chess players are Samvel Ter-Sahakyan (up to 18 year old tournament) and Hovhannes Gabuzyan (up to 16 year old tournament) who each scored 3.5 points and are on top of the list.
Vahe Baghdasaryan and Rafael Bakunts (up to 18 years old), Karen Grigoryan (up to 16 years old), Armen Mikayelyan (up to 14 years old), Susanna Sargsyan (up to 18 years old), Maria Gevorgyan (up to 16 years old), Ani Harutyunyan (up to 14 years old), Hasmik Shahbazyan (up to 12 years old), Milena Khorotyan (up to 10 years old) each scored 3 out of the 4 possible points. The remaining chess players don't have very high scores at the moment.
Let us add that the championship is being held through the Swiss procedure and is comprised of 9 rounds.
