The Armenian men's chess team defeated Australia in the World Chess Olympiad in Khanty-Mansiysk. After the victory, Armenia has moved ahead and equaled the tournament leaders.
Unlike the men's team, the women's chess team lost to the Czech Republic (1,5:2,5).
