Russia will be made accountable for throwing fruit
UEFA disciplinary committee is going to sue the fans of Russian football team, Sovetski Sport reports. The committee is presently studying the violent conduct of Russian fans during the Andorra-Russia qualifier of Sept. 3.
During the game the fans reportedly broke into a nearby private orchard and started throwing fruits at the stadium. According to Andorran sources, the guests also uttered jingoistic expressions throughout the game.
Note that Russia and Armenia have appeared in the same qualifying group.
