It is the first time Lebanese Armenian Serzh Gharibyan is in Armenia with his friends. A1+'s correspondent met them near roaming about the Opera House and admiring the sights of Yerevan.
"Sixty Lebanese Armenians arrived in Armenia to participate in the 9th pan-Armenian meeting of the Armenian General Athletic Union to be held in Byurakan from July 31 to August 8," says the young scout.
The event will bring together 600 scouts from 22 countries.
Anto Balabanian, Head of the Lebanese Scouts group "Erez," says the meetings encourage unity among the participants and gives them a unique chance to represent their country in different competitions.
The meeting carries the motto, "Let us work jointly."
