Aronian drew with Gelfand
Armenian Grand Master Levon Aronyan made a draw with Israel's Boris Gelfand in the 5th round of Linares chess tournament.
In the same round Veselin Topalov of Bulgaria took the lead after beating Russian Alexander Grischuk. Azerbaijan's GM Vugar Gashimov defeated Francisco Vallejo Pons of Spain.
After the first five rounds the standings are as follows: Veselin Topalov - 3,5 points, Alexander Grischuk, Levon Aronyan and Vugar Gashimov -2,5 points each.
In the 6th round Aronian will play vs. Grischuk
