Didn't reach Armenia
On September 25, 2009, Armenia's National Olympics Committee and the RA Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs signed an agreement with the Japanese ASICS company according to which ASICS will be the official sponsor for Armenian athletic organizations and the supplier of sportswear for the next 4 years.
Armenian athletes participating in the 2010 Winter Olympics will play in Vancouver with the sportswear provided by ASICS.
However, Armenian wrestlers recently played with the sportswear provided by the "Adidas" company during the recent Greco-Roman style wrestling championship in Yerevan.
As reported by the Armenian Wrestling Federation, they have not violated the mentioned agreement and have simply not received all sportswear and equipment from ASICS. The federation representatives also informed that the issue would be solved soon and Armenian wrestlers would compete in European and world championships with the ASICS sportswear.
