Levon Aronyan wasn't able to win

Armenian chess player Levon Aronyan tied the third match in the 3rd round of the super chess competition being held at Spanish Linares against Bulgarian chess master Veselin Topalov.

Although Levon had two additional figures, his opponent's defense tied the match.
The other two matches (Gelfand-Valyekho, Gashimov-Grishchuk) were also tied. After three rounds, Veselin Topalov and Alexander Grishchuk are on top of the board, each with 2 points, followed by Levon Aronyan and Francisco Valyekho with 1.5 points each.
Today Levon will compete against his Azerbaijani opponent.
