Levan Akobiyan won't play for "Ulis"
The "Ulis" team of Yerevan, which scored the bronze medal during the 2009 Armenian football championship, was supposed to end the week-long matches in Ijevan with a test match scheduled for February 8. However, the match did not take place because "Ulis"'s opponent-Yerevan's "Kilikia"-had not come to Ijevan due to weather conditions.
"Ulis" currently continues trainings in Yerevan. As executive director of the team Gagik Galstyan said, there have been changes after Georgian legions of "Ulis" Levan Akobiyan and Tengiz Ugrekelidze left for a probation period in Israel. They have already returned from the Near East. Tengiz has come to Yerevan, while Levan is in Zugdid.
As Gagik Galstyan informed, "Ulis" has reached an initial agreement with Kapan's "Gandzasar" team to hold a test match in Ararat on February 12. "We hope that this time nothing will disturb us and we will finally be able to hold a friendly match," said Galstyan.
As far as the foreign instructional match scheduled for March is concerned, the team administration still hasn't decided on the location. "We have planned to hold the match in Sochi with all the conditions to train and play. But issues arose with our Georgian legions. They must have the right of entrance to leave for Russia. If we don't manage to solve that issue, we will go to Ureki, Georgia," said "Ulis"'s executive director.
