Basketball players infected with flu
Vologda-Chevakata basketball team was to hold the first meeting within the framework of the Russian Cup ¼ final on November 16.
But the match was postponed since the team's 11 basketball players had contracted flu. The club administration announced that their players were not infected with the A/H1N1 virus.
Note that 77 chess players were recorded to be infected with A/H1N1 influenza during the recent Junior Chess Championship in Vologda.
Residents of Vologda are currently being vaccinated against the swine flu.
To add, Yerevan's Hatis team will host Vologda-Chevakata within the European Cup tournament on November 19.
