Levon Aronian draws with Svidler
Playing white, Armenian Grandmaster Levon Aronian drew with Peter Svidler (Russia) in the first round of Mikhail Tal Memorial in Moscow.
Alexander Morozevich-Peter Leko, Boris Gelfand-Ruslan Ponomariov, Vassili Ivanchuk-Viswanathan Anand and Magnus Carlsen-Vladimir Kramnik games also ended in a draw.
On November 6, Levon Aronian will face uslan Ponomariov and Viswanathan Anand - Vladimir Kramnik. The latter will be the key game of the tournament.
2nd round pairs are: Karlsen-Morozevich, Leko-Gelfand, Ponomarev-Aronian, Svidler-Ivanchuk, Kramnik-Anand.
