To refuse for Armenia?
According to Argentinean presses, one of the major breakthrough football stars of the 2009 opening championship in Argentina is 22-year old Joaquin Bogossian.
He has been playing for "Newells Old Boys" for the past three months, but has already managed to become the idol of the team's fans. The football player with Armenian roots (Argentinean presses also state that) has already scored 5 goals in 7 matches and, in fact, most of those goals have played a decisive role for the team, especially the latest goal that he scored in the match with the "Tigres" team.
Joaquin Bogossian was born in Montevideo, Uruguay. He started playing in the "Cero" team and then "Progreso". In 2007 he returned to "Cero" and transferred to "Newels Old Boys" in August this year. The Armenian football player has also played in the youth team of Uruguay.
As chief trainer of "Newels Old Boys" Gustavo Desoti states, despite his height (192 centimeters), Joaquin is a good player who plays a simple, but effective match. According to estimations by the Argentinean club, Bogossian's "rate" is currently equivalent to 3 million dollars.
