There have been no young aviation specialist in Armenia for the last 15 years, President of the National Aviation Union Dmitriy Adbashyan complains. About 700-800 specialists used to be trained before, 300 of whom studied in Kiev. Adbashyan mentioned that about 300 thousand USD is needed annually in order to realize educational program for a year.

Mr. Adbashyan thinks that amateur aviation must be created in Armenia. There must be private amateur planes. By the way, Adbashyan himself has one. According to him, if someone spent 1.5 thousand hours in the air on that plane, he can be considered a professional pilot.
