If this weren't Armenia the mayor of Yerevan would have already abdicated from his post on citizens' demand. Moreover, he would be summoned before a judge to indemnify for “broken” nerves and crashed cars of the citizens.

A week ago RA government marked out 100 mln. AMD for the city administration to remove the snow in the city. But as it turned out the sum given was too little for the city administration to discharge its obligations and do away with the backwashes of the snow. The heavy snowfall again disturbed the life in the capital. There are people waiting for vehicles in the bus stops for hours, jammings all over the city. «This days show the work of the city administration», - the driver of mini-bus 5 complained. At 11 there were no snow-ploughs seen in the streets. Cars, mini-buses, buses were lined on the sidewalks. In some cases mini-bus drivers refuse to continue the way suggesting their passengers getting off and making their way on foot.

“Armenian hydrometeorology centre surmises that the snow won’t stop till late at night today, and advises the citizens to return home as soon as possible not to be left in the street.
