“LISTEN TO US, COGNIZE YOURSELVES”
Support A1+!On September 17 Television and Radio National Commission announced for a tender to license broadcasting of radio programs. 100,6 and 101,1 MHz frequencies were put to tender. It is planned to open the tender proposals in the Commission on December 28. Most probably, the names of winners will be published on December 31.
The term is the most suitable one for Television and Radio National Commission since the information field will be vacant because of the holiday, so the activity of the Commission won’t be in focus of anyone. That’s why “Meltex” LTD Chairman Mesrop Movsisyan and “Centre of Cooperation for Democracy” s/o Director Stepan Danielyan have decided to talk about the tender.
Besides “Radio Aurora” and “AutoRadio”, “M S Explorer” Company has put in claims for 2 radio frequencies. Stepan Danielyan and Mesrop Movsisyan are the founders of “M S Explorer”.
The tender proposal provides that “Ayb-Fe” News Agency processes the information blocks for the radio of public orientation.
Apprehension rises whether the members of Television and Radio National Commission will again show the same “special” attitude like during the tenders for TV frequencies when coming across the name of Mesrop Movsisyan in the application. “Figures don’t play any role here. Those like Amalyan come and go, end and vanish. Enterprises, radios and TV Companies keep functioning”, Mesrop Movsisyan says.
Mesrop Movsesyan doesn’t accept the version that the tender proposal of “M S Explorer” will be rejected because the staff has no experience of working in a radio. “We didn’t have the experience of producing a website or issuing a newspaper. We have no experience of radio activity, either. It is unwise for a professional personnel to think that they can’t work in the radio branch if there has been no experience accumulated”, he says.
By the way, to partake in the radio frequency tender Stepan Danielyan didn’t perform a significant mission. He was to leave for Ukraine on Sunday to carry out an observers’ mission during the presidential elections there.
