ARMENIAN STUDENTS REMAIN OPPOSED TO MILITARY SERVICE BILL
Support A1+!Armenian students keep on protesting the bill amending Military Service Law and repealing military service adjournment for post-graduate students.
On Wednesday morning they gathered outside Yerevan State University carrying banners.
In their words, Defense Minister Serge Sargssyan was due to meet with them early this Wednesday but later the meeting was postponed for the second half of the day. Students reacted angrily to that, as they are convinced it was deliberate delay to hamper public discussion over the bill planned to be held in Cinema House on Wednesday.
Students intend to stage a rally outside the House of the Parliament to attract lawmakers’ attention to their opinion.
