110 PEOPLE SUBJECTED TO ADMINISTRATIVE DETENTION
Support A1+!After March 21 rally 110 peoples were kidnapped and taken to territorial IA Departments within 3 days . 30 of the arrested ones were sentenced to 5 to 15 days in jail or fined 500 to 3,000 drams.
After taking people into custody Law-enforcement bodies phone their relatives and demand for 5000-10000 drams or else those in the insulators would starve .
“It’s cynicism we are facing” , Artak Zeynalyan, member of political Council for “Republic” Party says.
Letters over the illegalities will be sent to Justice Ministry, Office of Prosecutor, Chairman of Court Council, Embassies, right defence bodies.
Mr Zeynalyan thinks no one in Armenia can be subjected to administrative confinement as there is no order for administrative punishment in Armenia.
“All the judges make crime, making a verdict over administrative arrest, irrespective of who a person is, what he or she has done” , Zeynalyan says.
