WHY SHOULD WE SPEND MONEY IF THEY GIVE IT AS A PRESENT

Politics

While referring to Robert Kocharyan and Vladimir Putin’s meeting, “Comersant” daily noted that the negotiating parties did their best to guess each other’s wishes and to fulfill them as quickly as possible.

The newspaper finds it strange that Putin is ashamed of the fact that Russia is in the third place with its investments in the Armenian economy. “There is no need to worry,” writes the newspaper, “the investments seem little as over the past years Armenia has been giving its actives to Russia in return of various services.”

“Comersant” brings the following illustration from the Presidents’ meeting;

”I am very grateful for your warm words,” said Robert Kocharyan after hearing Putin’s last words, “thanks for the invitation...”

At that moment the Russian president looked at his Armenian counterpart with childish hesitation.

“Though I asked you for it...,” sighed Mr. Kocharyan.
