POMPEII FOR THE OPPOSITION
Support A1+!«The positive outcome of the referendum will be neither a Waterloo nor a Borodino for the opposition but the ruins of Pompeii», independent deputy Hmayak Hovhannisyan predicted today.
According to Hovhannisyan, the Constitutional amendments will not bring success to the authorities. He also noted that as a result of the amendments Samvel Babayan will gain more supporters, as «the people will start to believe in fair powers and not in the talkative opposition».
According to Hmayak Hovhannisyan, even if the amendments are not adopted, it does not mean that the opposition will manage to carry out change of authorities , «as during all those years there have been chances for the opposition to realize the change but they have not managed to use them».
As for the boycott, Mr. Hovhannisyan is not going to succumb to the opposition's urging and will go and say «No» to the amendments.
