KARABAKH PROBLEM STILL WITHIN OSCE MINSK GROUP FRAMEWORK
Support A1+!The settlement of the Karabakh problem is still within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group, France’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia Henry Cuny stated during today’s press conference.
In his words, the Co-Chairs have just taken a time-out in view of the elections held in both states. Henry Cuny reported that the Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents as well as the international community attach great attention to the activities of the Minsk Group Co-Chairs.
However the solution of the Karabakh problem should be found by the parties to conflict. According to the Ambassador it would be advisable if international organizations in their turn made some analysis thus contributing to the Minsk Group without conflicting with the Prague principles.
Henry Cuny noted that his words are not a novelty and expressed hope that the Karabakh problem will receive a stable solution.
As for the OSCE expert group for collecting facts in Karabakh, according to the Ambassador he does not possess any information on their activity yet. To note, an expert from France as well as from other states serve on the mission, the expert conclusion of which is to be signed by the Minsk Group Co-Chairs.
