KARABALH CONFLICT BEING DISCUSSED
Support A1+!“The issues our foreign policy is trying to solve have already been exhausted”, Vazgen Manukyan, chairman of the National Democratic Union said when opening the discussion dedicated to the Artsakh problem.
“The foreign policy is nor being worked out and controlled by the people”, head of the National Self-Determination Union Paruyr Hayrikyan added. Manukyan, Hayrikyan as well as Ashot Manucharyan, the representative of “Social Forces and Intellectuals”, are convinced that ''democratization is an important prerequisite for the Karabakh conflict settlement'' . Today they have set their mind on presenting the public “the questions, which remained without convincing answer”.
The questions were presented by Ashot Manucharyan, who said in part, ''We often say that the OSCE Minsk Group did this or that, however the most important question is what the Minsk Group represents and which are the real aims of the mission for collecting facts. And can we get real answers to out questions. “Mostly we can’t”, he said in answer to his own question.
Head of Stepanakert Press Club Gegham Baghdasaryan proposed the Armenian leadership to step aside and give Artsakh the possibility to take part in the conflict settlement with the assistance of the legal authorities formed by means of democratic elections.
