Georgian president’s former deputy representative in Samtskhe-Javakhk and Borjomi province governor Vazha Beridze was detained the other day on charge of inflicting damage of 600,000 lari to the state by providing a land to an organization illegally. He will be kept in police custody for three months.
Beridze’s lawyers find his detention groundless.
