KOCHARYAN IS THE PRESIDENT OF ARSENYAN

According to Gurgen Arsenyan, Chairman of “United Labour Party”, Armenian Coalition Government has represented 2005 budget of costs management while it had to represent the budget of “final results”.

He says it’s the “impromptu” assessment of the budget and ULP will soon introduce the analysis.

Criticizing Coalition Arsenyan doesn’t criticize Robert Kocharyan, though a journalist said Coalition is regarded as 3 parties plus Robert Kocharyan.

Despite the fact that together with Coalition representatives ULP periodically partakes in consulting held by Robert Kocharyan, Gurgen Arsenyan assures ULP isn’t going to become a Coalition member. “We were to be invited from the very outset”. Besides, he says, not everything is coordinated during the conferences and there is discord of views, too.

Arsenyan assures ULP doesn’t yet lay claims to Ministerial posts and has a more “effective” role in Parliament. Gurgen Arsenyan has no pretensions of becoming President, either. He says in case of victory in the coming parliamentary elections ULP will join any party and will appear with a joint candidate.

As to the statement made by MP Manuk Gasparyan who said ULP to be a “damped” Opposition, Arsenyan labelled it as a proof of ”flight of fancy and own ideas of a person”.
