WHO AT WAS THE ATTEMPT MADE?
Support A1+!Yesterday we were informed by Russian and Georgian Media that during the visit of Armenian President Robert Kocharyan to Georgia at attempt upon his life was masterminded. It was to be made in the jazz-club where the Presidents of both countries were. Fortunately, encroachment was prevented.
We have today asked the Armenian parliamentarians who at the planned and failed attempt was made.
Armenian Parliament Vice-Speaker Tigran Torosyan said there have often been attempts and wishes to commit terror acts in Georgia, especially against Presidents.
Other Parliament Vice-Speaker, Vahan Hovanisyan answered nearly the same. He remembered the attempts made upon life of ex Georgian President Edward Shevardnadze. We asked him whether masterminding of murder against the newly-elected President was expected. Vahan Hovanisyan cited murder of Kennedy.
MP in Opposition refused to comment on the question. “We don’t want to comment the games of secret services”, Shavarsh Kocharyan said.
