ONLY 15 PEOPLE INSTEAD OF 15.000 ARE ALLOWED TO PAY TRIBUTE TO OCTOBER 27 VICTIMS
Support A1+!It turns the claim of “Justice” Bloc on holding a march from Freedom Square to Baghramyan Avenue on October 26 corresponds with the demands of law. Gagik Baghdasaryan, Yerevan Mayor’s Executive on holding meetings, marches and demonstrations informed this.
Mr. Baghdasaryan was asked why Municipality didn’t sanction the march in that case. “I have conducted a survey to State Car Inspection and received a response. It said it wasn’t expedient to sanction the march since Mashtotc, Sayat-Nova and Baghramyan Avenuse are among the most overcrowded avenues in Yerevan and traffic jams occur often because of dense flow of traffic”, he answered.
We reminded Mr. Baghdasaryan about closing of Republic Square for 6 hours during Erebuni-Yerevan festival when traffic flow was hampered much.
”We have a Municipality program, which is beforehand worked out and agreed with all the sections”, he explained.
By the way, State Car Inspection has decided to partly grant the claim of “Justice” Bloc and allow holding a march but only with 10-15 persons instead of 15.000.
