GEGHAMYAN WAS ACCEPTED, TOROSYAN NOT

”National Unity” Party Chair Artashes Geghamyan appealed in written to be enrolled in a CE “Democratic” faction a few months ago. “Unlike other groups, all the issues are treated more exactingly here”, Mr. Geghamyan says.

Membership issue was postponed till discussion on Armenia in CE. During the CE sitting a decision was made to involve Mr. Geghamyan in CE “Democratic” Party faction. “I consider it logical since the ideology and the economic projects of “National Unity” are in harmony with Christian and Democratic Party of Germany. I treat membership in the faction honourable”, Geghamyan states.

By the way, together with Mr. Geghamyan another Armenian MP has appealed for membership in CE “Democratic” faction, too, but he was rejected. Artashes Geghmayan kept silence about it.

We managed to find out that Tigran Torosyan is the MP having put an application for enrolment but refused.
