Support A1+!Efficient and speeded up discussion of the bills continued in Parliament. No one asked questions or made speeches during representing the bills. During 1,5 hours 4 bills were introduced in Parliament.
By the first break Parliament activity was on discussion of agriculture issues. Agriculture Deputy Minister Samvel Avetisyan represented the international credit agreement concluded between Armenian President and USAID, under which $ 1,75 million will be allocated to the Armenian rural areas damaged by frost.
MP Artak Araqelyan stated that $ 1,75 million is not enough for the villages where the damage volume makes $ 30 million.
Deputy Minister accepted that the compensation is not adequate. Besides allotting fertilizer and young plants Government has also decided to exempt the apricot fields damaged by frost and hail from tax for irrigation water.
Samvel Avetisyan said frost damaged mainly the badly cultivated trees and advised the villagers to maintain the agro-technical conditions since the facts proved well cultivated trees resisted frosts.
