At a joint news conference held immediately after Armenian-Iranian negotiations, Armenian president Kocharyan and his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Khatami expressed their satisfaction with the results of the negotiations.

Kocharyan said he was happy about course of negotiations and the results reached and expressed hope that relations between the two states will deepen.

Khatami, in turn, said he considered Armenians as a diligent and hard-working nation, who made a great contribution in the world culture development.
