NATIONAL ASSEMBLY PAYS ATTENTION TO REFUGEES’ PROBLEMS
Support A1+!Amount of 5 million USD will be targeted for refugees’ needs under a state program, said Armenian National Assembly speaker Arthur Baghdasaryan said Wednesday at his meeting with the UN and Noway refugee committees’ officials Peter Nicolaus and Tim Strait.
The sum will be spent for providing refugees with apartments and jobs, he said.
The parliament speaker also said computer centers are to be opened soon in regions where refugees reside.
Stressing the importance of mission of newly created parliament-affiliated refugee committee, the guests expressed their readiness to cooperate with it.
