”Armenia doesn’t express a clear stance on Karabakhi conflict settlement and it will be harmful to us”, MP Shavarsh Kocharyan thinks.

According to him, the Armenian officials always say they are adherents for the peaceful settlement of Karabakhi conflict through negotiations and Azerbaijani ones repeat that their territory is occupied, they have refugees etc.

Shavarsh Kocharyan is concerned that the international public opinion becomes pro-Azerbaijani just because of failure of our foreign policy.

”Karabakh doesn’t take part in any negotiation as a subject. It’s an object, so a question rises – “Is that a territorial conflict?”, he says.

Shavarsh Kocharyan remembered that he had heard about returning the 3 territories to Azerbaijan 1 year before from both European and Georgian MPs. “I asked them - What for?, they answered - just as a display of a good will, let them recognize independence of Karabakh”, Kocharyan said.
