RUSSIA HAS NO PROBLEMS IN MILITARY SPHERE WITH ARMENIA

Defense Ministers of CIS states are in Yerevan to partake in the sitting of Council of Defense Ministers. Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan won’t take part in the sitting. During the visit the delegation heads will meet Robert Kocharyan.

Russian Defense Minister Sergey Ivanov arrived in Yerevan. He informed in the airport issues regarding Armenian-Russian military cooperation, military and technical, educational collaboration, regional security will be discussed within the visit.

”Our relations develop dynamic, and there are no problems in military cooperation sphere or over 102nd Russian military base”, Mr. Ivanov said.

Is it possible that armament increases in the Russian military bases in the territory of Armenia? Sergey Ivanov answered such issues are discussed and regulated within Collective Security Contract where political decisions on Armed Forces and ammunition are made.

Ministers will hold a press conference today.
