“TURKEY CAN’T BECOME OUR FRIEND”

Not long ago Great Britain Ambassador to Armenia Thorda Abbott-Watt announced it won’t be useful to recognize the Armenian slaughters in 1915 as Genocide.

”Our key task is unity of Armenian people, Diaspora and Armenia’s leadership and not Genocide recognition by Ambassadors of Great Britain, Germany or France. We must not allow anyone to discredit us”, Harutyun Sasunyan, “California Career” publisher said during the dialogue held in Yerevan State University.

”Unfortunately, USA is now the ally of Turkey. If USA, England and Germany recognize the Armenian Genocide, the Armenian matter can be considered settled”, Mr. Sasunyan told the students.

According to him, Armenia will make no concessions over the Genocide even if Turkey recognizes the Armenian Genocide in 20 or 200 years.
