”The present Authorities and Opposition have the same approaches to Karabakhi conflict. They both are progeny of revolution in 1998. They both are pro-Russian”, politician Agassi Enoqyan said at a seminar on “Karabakhi Conflict Settlement: Positions of Parties in Armenia” in Congress Hotel.
Enoqyan also said since Karabakhi problem is not solved, it is impossible and senseless to conduct power change as authorities justify militarization and non-democratic steps of the public through that: ”We can eliminate Kocharyan but we don’t change the system”.
According to Enoqyan, the package solution to the problem is just a way to avoid conflict regulation. He says that the situation is playing into the hands of Russia as it is interested in isolated political elements in Southern Caucasus to keep its stances there.
He thinks the integration method is to be applied in the region and Karabakhi conflict is to be discussed in that context.
