National Assembly members began their Tuesday’s session with voting on some bills that had been discussed yesterday. All the bills were approved by the vote and legislators embarked on other issues included in the agenda.

Deputy Defense Minister submitted amendments to the Disciplinary Punishment for Servicemen regulation to lawmakers. The bill is worked out in correspondence with new Penal Code and specified that servicemen offenders can be kept in custody no longer than 72 hours before formal charge is brought. Those brought in Armenian capital from provinces can be kept in preliminary detention facilities maximum 30 hours.
