DASHNAKS PUT THEMSELVES ABOVE THE LAW

After mulling Dashnaktsutyun party’s charter, Supreme Council parliamentary club came to conclusion that the party was given registration without adjusting its charter to the law.

The club’s head Ruben Torossyan said at today’s news conference that the out-of-law party overshadows Armenian political system.

He announced the club’s intention to file motion in court demanding the party to put its charter in correspondence with Armenia’s law.

Club focused its attention on the party’s charter after dozens of overseas Armenians claimed their membership in a clear violation of the law, which stipulates that those who are no Armenian citizens have no right to be members of any political party of the country.
