"PEOPLE'S MP" PARLIAMENTARY GROUP EXPRESSES WILLINGNESS TO MEDIATE BETWEEN OPPOSITION AND AUTHORITIE
Support A1+!Today, after long-hour speculations, “People’s MP” parliamentary group decided to announce it is ready to be mediator between pro-governmental and opposition-minded forces in parliament.
The decision got ruling coalition representatives’ approval.
Galust Sahakyan said mediators would help to create better atmosphere in the country.
Dashnaks’ leader Levon Mkrtchyan expressed his opinion by saying there is no parliamentary crisis, as parliamentary majority works effectively. What is going on, he said, is that political situation grew tense.
Orinats Erkir fraction leader Samvel Balasanyan joined the Dashnaktsutyun representative saying no crisis is seen in parliament.
It is remarkable that “People’s MP” fraction all members voted in favor of the proposal not to discuss the Referendum Law. That’s why their mediation in the opposition-authority confrontation would face some problems.
