Support A1+!“There is necessity for reforms in all the spheres”, Social Welfare Minister Aghvan Vartanyan concluded after a month-long period of office. He says his job is a complicated and a delicate one as he “deals with the most suffered, pensioners, invalids, careless children”.
The new Minister invited the journalists to meeting for voicing standpoints and making proposals. “The society can’t develop if there is no social solidarity” , he said. He even promised journalists to reward them for the best publication.
Aghvan Vartanyan is sure that the reform will succeed in case of support of the public, and the journalists must do their best in order that “the state steps might be clear to the society”.
Special packages were made for the journalists with Social Welfare Ministry structure, statistics. Under June 1, 2003 data, 155200 citizens seek for job through employment services. In 2003 January-May 2758 unemployed people were given to job places.
According to the Minister, the unemployed will have job, the poor will become rich if “the problems in the system are solved in wise ways, and if corruption in the infrastructure of the Ministry is eliminated” .
