“JUSTICE” BLOC COMPLAINING

14 candidates of “Justice” Bloc, headed by Stepan Demirchyan, put in a claim to the Constitutional Court of Armenia demanding to declare invalid 2003’ parliamentary elections of majority election procedure.

The plaintiffs are sure that the Constitution of Armenia, the 21st article of the Declaration of Human Rights and other laws, were broken at the parliamentary elections . During the elections CEC and other state bodies showed inactivity, and exceeding their commissions, approved legal acts running counter to laws.

Foreign citizens and organisations, /like citizen of Russia Mikhail Baghdasarov, Chairman of “Mika Limited” Company, called upon voting for “Union for Producers and Women” Bloc at the bloc’ press conference/, carried on propaganda .

Russian Minister of Home Affairs Boris Grizlov / “United Russia” / announced at the meeting with Armenian PM Andranik Margaryan that Republican Party of Armenia won the status of the ally of the main political power supporting the president of Russia .

According to the complainants, in the phase of result summarising facts on power failure, ballot box stealing, stuffing by committee members after opening the ballot boxes and other like election irregularities were registered in many election centres at 8:00 PM and after.

“The parliamentary elections of Armenia were planned and conducted by Authorities and electoral committees through mass outrages and fraud, which greatly influenced on the results of the elections” , “Justice” Bloc representatives announce.
