KAZANTSEV: WE ABLE TO STOP ANY AGGRESSOR
Support A1+!A delegation headed by Victor Kazantsev, the representative of the Russian president in the Southern federal okrug, arrived today in Armenia for three-day visit.
As part of his visit, Mr. Kazantsev toured Russian troops deployed in Armenia. The Russian guest said he pleased with order and discipline he found here and called Armenian-Russian relations “warm and cordial”.
Kazantsev didn’t fail to notice either the local residents’ or the authorities’ care of Russian soldiers.
The Russian official is convinced that military balance in the region wouldn’t be hurt by Russian units’ withdrawal from Georgia. “Don’t fear, military presence will be sufficient to prevent or resist any aggression against CIS member countries”, he said.
Victor Kazantsev assured that the situation in the region is under tight control and there is enough capability to solve any problem.
