ARF REPRESENTATIVE COMPLAINING
Support A1+!Artsvi Minasyan, former candidate in N 30 election district nominated by ARF, at May 30 conference introduced the irregularities and falsifications at the election district, saying he doesn’t recognise the election results .
He said law breaches were committed even at setting up the committees. Minasyan cited concrete cases. E.g, observers and proxies were beaten and sent out in Lenughi, the protocol they had made was torn, in Ushakert a proxy was taken out through the window.
Voting by show, stuffing and other election irregularities were committed in 15 settlements. Real voting took place by 12:00 PM, and voting by show took place beginning from 8:30 AM in Bambakashat, he says. According to Minasyan, there was a climate of intimidation and violence in the election district.
Artsvi Minasyan told he was going to appeal to Constitutional Court with demand for declaring invalid the elections in N 30 election district since will of the electorate of it was seized. Under the “drawn” results, Artsvi Minasyan won 3500 votes and N. Gevorgyan, seconded by Republican Party, gained 14500 . Minasyan also stated stuffing in favour of Republican Party and Land of Law was used.
“Who are those responsible for the breaches?” Minasyan was asked. He considers there are no political powers behind them, and the electoral committees and law-enforcement bodies are to blame.
